Cara Delevingne Sells Burned Out $7 Million Los Angeles Mansion At A Big Loss – 6 Months After It Was Destroyed By Fire

Supermodel Cara Delevingne has sold her fire-ravaged Los Angeles mansion for $4.6 million – six months after the property was destroyed by a massive fire.

Property records show that the Studio City, CA mansion, which Delevingne bought for $7 million in 2019, was sold in an off-market deal in September. Your 17 is an LLC. Images of the four-bedroom, six-bathroom home, taken just days before the sale, showed it was still in a derelict state.

The original listing described the mansion as a “completely special home” and offered Delevingne complete privacy while she lived there, thanks to the lush trees that surround it, shielding the property from any prying eyes.

“Unforgettable, in a word,” the ranking continued. “Situated on an acre+ of perfectly manicured grounds, lush gardens and beautiful resort-sized pool. It all comes together beautifully to create a getaway that is at once exotic, elegant and thoroughly relaxing.â€

In 2021, Delevingne opened the doors to the home in a video shared by Architectural Digest. The video revealed the quirky updates she had made to the property – including the addition of an adult ball pit, a “vaginal tunnel” corridor and Gucci wallpaper.

At the time, the model described the home as an “adult playhouse”, revealing that it was inspired “at least in part” by the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland.

“My job requires me to wear many different hats and costumes. I love slipping into these different characters, so I wanted my home to reflect a lot of different themes and moods,” Delevingne explained at the AD tour.

“The takeaway from this house is just never grow up, you know? You always carry some kind of innocence or childlike joy or just the need for fun. They are really great for stress. You can’t cry in a ball pit. I have tried

However, in March 2024, disaster struck when a fire tore through the property, destroying almost every room and leaving the house as nothing more than a charred shell.

Delevingne was not at home at the time of the fire, having moved temporarily to her native London, where she was performing in the West End musical Cabaret.

However, she shared her grief over losing her home in a post on Instagram Stories.

“My heart is broken today. I can’t believe it. Life can change in the blink of an eye. So appreciate what you have,” she wrote at the time.

The cause of the fire remained a mystery for months — with local firefighters telling TMZ in April that Los Angeles Fire Department crews were unable to determine what caused the fire because the damage was so extensive.

Sources told the media that the fire started in a back room of the house and then spread to the attic, which led to the collapse of the roof, causing the fire to intensify further.

Delevingne’s parents, Charles and Pandora, claimed to the media shortly after the fire that it was caused by “electrical issues”.

“She’s probably devastated. She had everything in her house, her whole life. She built it, she made it. She has everything inside her,” Pandora said of her daughter.

The property also housed a large amount of original and irreplaceable artwork, including a significant piece created by the “master of light” James Turrell.

Photos of the house published in the New York Post in September. 12 shows the destroyed property without a roof. The entire second story appears to have been destroyed by the fire, while debris was seen scattered throughout the remainder of the house.

Although the buyer’s identity has been kept under wraps as a result of their decision to purchase the residence through an LLC, it’s clear that the new owner will have a lot of work to do before the home is remotely livable.

Meanwhile, Delevingne is said to be spending more time at her New York home, which she bought from late-night TV host Jimmy Fallon.

Earlier this month, he confirmed the model lived in the property, revealing that it has retained some of the unique design features he installed while living there, including silhouettes of his family and friends in the bathroom.

“Everything is exactly the same,” Fallon said in an interview on SiriusXM. “Margot Robbie was staying there, you know, because they’re friends, and she said, ‘Your apartment was so cool.’ She goes, ‘I just used your bathroom.’
